Stage Beauty is set in reign of Charles 2nd - a lot of the score reflects the period whilst hopefully still operating as film music. But the film also feels very modern particularly the two central characters played brilliantly by Billy Crudup and Clare Danes. (1/2) ✍️ GF

They feel completely in period - but not at the same time - and that was my hope for some parts of the score including this track. I love this film. It’s a great story with some great performances. Hope you’ll check it out. (2/2) ✍️ GF
