Inflatables (animals, lilo’s, cheap single skin kayaks or paddle boards) not made to be taken into the sea, construction is not up to the demands. Coastal winds, tidal flow can make steering & paddling very difficult or even impossible. For safety, keep inflatables for the pool!

Remember to check for ice/snow build-up on your vessel. A regular safety check is important, even if you’re not planning to head out on the water, because build-up can cause your boat to list and take on water or even sink.

Our hearts are heavy this morning as we learn more about the tragic line of duty death of lifeguard Keith Pinto who was killed after being struck by lightning ⚡️ while sitting in his lifeguard stand. Our hearts go out to his family, friends & the entire lifeguard community.
