Happy World Bog Day from our Fens East Peat Partnership! Peatlands are amazing – these marshy wetlands store carbon, are home to fabulous wildlife and help reduce flooding. This is Holme Fen where historically drained lowland raised bog is being rewetted to keep carbon locked in.
