PE staff have organised a House Football Competition for International Women's Football Day on March 10th. Every girl will be involved: playing, coaching, being a statistician or an official.
This coincides with International Women's Day, focusing on promoting girls' football.

During Children’s Mental Health Week, GMS welcomed local organisations to run a Wellbeing Roadshow. Local organisations came to run activities with students that support positive mental health and to inform them about the services they offer.

🎶House Music Competition
GMS came alive with the sound of music as students took to the stage for this year’s much-anticipated competition. The event showcased an incredible range of musical talent from across all year groups, the judges were hugely impressed.

The KS3 Enterprise Day 2026 turned out to be ‘a roaring success’, thanks to the students who committed to developing merchandise that was creative and popular.
The hall was packed with GMS students eager to buy products and most stallholders made a profit.

A busy week of events and activities has been arranged for Literary Week at GMS.
🗓️2nd to 5th March
Departments will be holding discussions of current news, geography quizzes, 'Guess the Book' in MFL, Pitch a Product in D&T and creating designs in art and English.

👏 Congratulations to GMS student Lara Martin who won a gold medal🥇 in the National Kickboxing Championships this weekend. This makes her the current British Champion and she qualifies for the World Championships in Dubai later in the year.
