We mourn the tragic loss of Officer Torsiello, who passed away last night while off-duty. Our thoughts & prayers are with her family, friends, & members of the @NYPD30Pct.
It is with deep regret that the 30th Pct announces the sudden and tragic death of Police Officer Juliana Torsiello. Officer Torsiello with only 3 years of service, had already made a name for herself protecting West Harlem. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers🕊️

Be an ALLY! An ally is someone who supports, uplifts, empowers, advocates and stands up for others. You can show your allyship for the LGBTQIA community by wearing an NYPD ally lapel pin. If you see Det. Martorelli or myself, don’t hesitate to ask for yours! #NYPD #allyship

If someone in your profession does something despicable it's ok to say that it's wrong, that it's terrible, and that you hope they pay for it. Stop protecting terrible people or playing victim thinking it "could have been me" when you know damn well it would have NEVER been you.
