Brother, seminary is not simply a place to earn a degree — it is a community where men are shaped for a lifetime of gospel ministry. Through chapel, weekly prayer with faculty, fellowship events, and a monthly Ladies’ Fellowship for seminary wives, we seek to nurture a culture of Christian fellowship and mutual encouragement. Our 2026 Summer Seminar will explore these themes through a series of lectures by Carlton Wynne and Camden Bucey. Register now at gpts.edu/events/apologetics-…

Our library is often much quieter during the summer months as many of our students spend time with family, work seasonal jobs, or participate in internships. While we look forward to welcoming them back in the fall, their absence serves as a reminder of how the Lord is at work in their lives beyond our campus. Please continue to keep our students in your prayers as they seek to faithfully serve Christ wherever they are this summer.

Biblically Grounded. Pastorally Focused. Confessionally Faithful. Over 35 years ago, ruling elders from a nearby presbyterian church founded Greenville Seminary. They looked to the past, modeling our founding documents after those of Old Princeton Seminary. While some seminaries were lowering standards for language instruction, systematic theology, and preaching hours, they raised them. These men had taken vows to uphold the Westminster Standards, and they kept that standard for all professors to ensure transparency and consistency. Since the aim was to train pastors, they insisted that costs be kept as low as possible for the men who were studying. These founding convictions and aims still animate us today.  Learn more about what we believe at gpts.edu/about-us
