Plateau politics must serve the people, not 2027 power calculations. Let's demand better for our farmers, our youth, and our future.

Open Letter to Elon Musk Date: 19 April 2026 Mr. @elonmusk Founder & CEO, SpaceX & Starlink Dear Mr. Musk, Subject: Request to Review Starlink Pricing for Greater Accessibility in Rural Nigeria. I am writing this open letter as a passionate advocate for digital inclusion and education in rural Africa. My name is Amb. Ponfa Miri (Prince), Project Lead of @LangtangIHub in Langtang, Plateau State, Nigeria. We run a fully rural innovation hub that provides completely free training to rural kids, youth, and women, preparing them for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Our programmes cover AI literacy, coding, graphic design, digital marketing, virtual assistance, and digital entrepreneurship. Our core mission is to democratize technology and innovation access so that rural communities are not left behind in the digital age. We also have a pending flagship project: establishing Free Internet Zones across rural communities to directly bridge the digital divide. These zones would serve as community learning and opportunity centres giving hundreds of young people and women reliable connectivity to learn, create, and earn in the global digital economy. @Starlink has brought tremendous hope to remote areas like ours, where traditional broadband is almost non-existent. However, the current pricing remains a major obstacle for rural families, community projects, and social-impact initiatives. As of 2026, the Starlink hardware kit costs approximately ₦590,000 to ₦669,000, with residential monthly subscriptions starting from ₦57,000 (and higher for other plans). For the average rural Nigerian household and non-profit hubs operating with limited resources, these costs make adoption extremely difficult. Without affordable, reliable internet, our free 4IR training programmes face serious limitations, and our vision for Free Internet Zones cannot scale as intended. Rural children and women who are eager to learn and compete globally are held back simply because of connectivity costs. Mr. Musk, I respectfully and urgently appeal to you and the Starlink team to review and introduce tailored solutions for rural Nigeria. Specifically, we request consideration for: Subsidized or discounted hardware kits for rural innovation hubs, schools, and community centres Special lower-tier rural or social-impact monthly plans Flexible payment models, leasing options, or non-profit pricing Partnerships with local innovation hubs and digital inclusion projects Such measures would align perfectly with Starlink’s noble mission of connecting the unconnected and would unlock massive potential in education, skills development, agriculture, and entrepreneurship across rural Africa. We are ready and eager to partner with Starlink, whether by piloting these solutions at Langtang Innovation Hub or helping scale them nationwide. Mr. Musk, your vision has already changed the world. Making Starlink truly affordable for rural communities in Nigeria would help us democratize technology access and prepare the next generation for a brighter, more inclusive future. We look forward to your kind consideration. Thank you for your time and extraordinary leadership. Sincerely, Amb. Ponfa Miri (Prince) Project Lead, Langtang Innovation Hub Langtang, Plateau State, Nigeria X: @Princeponfa Hub X: @LangtangIHub Email: princemiri@langtangihub.org Website: langtangihub.org

They shut down CODE PLATEAU and promised to improve it, but it's been 3 years and we have still heard nothing from them. Dear PICTDA DG, you can do better without the lies.

In a few hours, I’ll be speaking to 981 secondary school students preparing for WAEC in Langtang North. Honestly, I’ve been thinking hard about what to share with them. Beyond passing their exams, one thing stands out clearly: Digital skills are now non-negotiable before entering university. The future is digital, start preparing now!

I saw a video last night that inspired me to read about human breast milk and the connection between a breastfeeding mother and the child. Follow me. The composition of the breast milk is not fixed. It changes from time to time, depending on the baby's needs. When a baby latches on to the nipples to suckle, a tiny amount of the baby's saliva flows back into the mother's nipple ducts during feeding. Receptors in the breast interpret this "data," detecting signals about the baby's health, hydration, or needs. In response, the mother's body rapidly adjusts the milk's composition, tailoring it precisely to support her child. This real-time feedback loop highlights how wonderfully attuned the human body is, turning breastfeeding into a dynamic conversation rather than a one-way provision. This adaptive process can trigger remarkable shifts inside the breast. If the baby's saliva indicates low hydration, the milk becomes more watery to quench thirst. When illness is detected (through pathogens or cues in the saliva), antibodies and immune factors spike, providing targeted protection. For a baby that's too tired, the fat content may increase to promote calmness and satisfaction. These changes can occur within hours, or even minutes, demonstrating the body's extraordinary efficiency. Breast milk also follows a circadian pattern. "Night milk" enriched in melatonin and sleep-promoting compounds like tryptophan, helping babies settle during evening feeds. Daytime milk, by contrast, contains higher levels of alertness-boosting elements. What this means is that you can pump your breast milk at night and store it, after labeling it properly. If your baby is having a hard time sleeping in the afternoon, you can give them this "night milk" and they will sleep better. Even the colors of expressed breast milk reveal its living, responsive nature. Everyday mature milk is typically white or creamy. A yellowish tint often signals immune-loaded protection. So, when your baby is ill, the milk will have a yellowish tint. Green colours may come from a mother's diet of leafy greens, while orange or deep yellow reflects carotenoids from foods like carrots. Pink traces can appear from harmless blood (such as from cracked nipples). The human body is amazing. The women's body is amazing. Most importantly, BREAST is awesome!

It is unfair on the so called Big 3 to have them be compared to Olamide. Olamide’s cultural impact is matchless. His musical repertoire is inimitable. And the stars he made, directly via his platforms or platforming them with his features? Endless. The toughest thing for a superstar to make is another superstar. Olamide did that and did it again and again. And again. There is a lot more to be said, but I have been held speechless by his iconic London show. Still reeling from the artistic excellence. You disrespect them and you’d be diminishing him when you make those comparisons. He is not to be compared. He is playing in his own league, all by himself. He is the big one!

Not everything you see is what you think it is. If you think this picture shows a man meditating/praying in the middle of a stream, just enlarge it and see. Nuggets 1. Prove all things 2. Avoid hasty conclusions 3. Wrong information leads to wrong decisions.

Some people complain about the situation of the country every minute they are awake but become very sad & despondent when they hear of any progress, they whine, cry & wail.. You then wonder if their complains are from a place of genuine love for the country.

Economic policies in Nigeria are very difficult to implement because of the human factor. It's looks good on paper, but we often forget we are dealing with Nigerians who will find a way to always game the system.
