As the devastating Ebola outbreak continues to grow in DRC and Uganda, we have begun to see #false #narratives in Russian news media suggesting that the outbreak could be a form of biological warfare waged by actors in the US, including pharmaceutical companies.

At the #NPTRevCon NGO session (1 May), implementation partner @OpenNuclear delivered a statement on RN disinformation.
It highlighted how false or unverified allegations can shape positions before technical clarification, distort discussions and increase polarisation.
