‘Coalition of #50sWomen groups ‘may’ launch a Judicial review’ is a bit like me saying I may win the Jackpot on the National lottery this week! It’s nonsense, they’ve got no ‘teeth’ and certainly no funds to launch such an action! It’s just a ‘threat’ 🤡

Here’s a blast from the past from nearly 7 years ago! Are there any further updates from #Backto60 #CEDAWinLAW regarding their campaign for #50sWomen Justice? They’ve also spent 3 years asking for ‘mediation’ and that seems to have gone nowhere! What Justice has been served?

Only for a 28-month delay in writing to some #50sWomen women. After the latest review by the DWP the answer in 12 weeks time is likely to be the same. No compensation.

That’s a fair point Alison. I suspect the vast majority of low-paid women had no choice but to keep on working irrespective of when they became aware. Unfortunately I think WASPI has been hijacked by well-to-do women to the detriment of more deserving cases for compensation.
