Grand Rapids gets the 15-5 win over Northfield to advance to the State Baseball Consolation Final at the MiniMet this evening. There’s still a chance for some hardware boys.

Grand Rapids loses 3-2 in extra innings to #2 ranked Mahtomedi. They will play at noon tomorrow at the Mini Met in Jordan to try to advance to the consolation championship tomorrow night.

After multiple medals in the state tournament, Brenden now holds the school record in the 800,1600, 3200, and 4x 400. He had state tournament appearances all three seasons of his senior year going in x-country, basketball and track. He’s also a great person. Thunderhawk Proud!

Lainie Jackson ran her personal best in the 1600 meter run and finished 9th in the state tournament. That makes two podium finishes at state in the 1600 and 3200. Way to go!
