Flattening corn again! I mean side dressing manure. Pumping from the remote storage tank onto corn that was strip tilled into alfalfa stubble. Hose humper lines up the hose, the 8R pulls the second draghose along.

2012 Pik-Rite VB1190 vertical beater manure spreader. 550 bushel or 16.6 ton capacity. Field ready with new plastic floor.
Originally this spreader came with a vinyl coated plywood floor. It has been replaced this winter with a solid 3/4” HDPE plastic floor.

While it was apart everything was fixed that needed to be fixed. Some new metal guides, new seals where needed. New hardware.
Original flotation tires with lots of life left. Good hydraulics and CV PTO.

This is either brilliant or stupid. Missed all the rains. Notill cereal rye on corn silage stubble. 5 acre field that can’t be draghosed, gonna tank some on. VF650/60R34 duals on front, VF710/75R42 duals on rear and 9500 gal tank with CTIS @ 15 PSI

Almost 3 years and 131k km driven the Mach E is doing great! Driving an EV and living on a farm in southern Ontario is really uneventful. Just like a gas car, but it never needs to go to a gas station. Plug it in at night and wake up with 420 km of range every day for $30/month

People love to hate EVs, but it has been much easier than we expected. My wife drives a lot and especially in the summer, my daughter plays rep softball and they go in a 2 hour radius. Don’t need to charge much outside of the house, but the Tesla chargers work well for the Mach E

Added some flashers to the back of the silage trailer to hopefully make the turn signals more obvious. When people are focussed on passing you they don’t notice that the right side has stopped blinking to indicate your left turn.
