This is incredibly hopeful news from Oxford University, where a trial of a new vaccine designed to help prevent cancers linked to Lynch syndrome has been approved to begin.

This is particularly significant for bowel cancer, as people with Lynch syndrome have a much higher risk of developing the disease. It’s an exciting step forward for cancer prevention research, and another reminder of why continued investment in research matters so much.
