This sounds like evading the question.
REPORTER: If the response is hitting bridges and electrical infrastructure, how is that not a war crime? HEGSETH: That's precisely the kind of disingenuous question I'm used to from the media -- impugning the motives of the folks on our side

It was a great pleasure addressing a bipartisan group of House and Senate interns on the Constitution and their own role in shaping the future of American democracy. These patriotic young people are helping make Congress and government work for all our people.

$1 per year in rent. What is the purpose of closing Forest Research facilities? Other than Trump's ongoing campaign to harm the environment
Trump's proposed 2027 budget allocates $0 for Forest Service research, potentially shuttering hundreds of research facilities across the country. Many of the closing facilities cost the government just $1 a year in rent.

This isn't about one slush fund or one president. I've introduced legislation to stop any president from using taxpayer money to bankroll their political allies and score a family sweeping Super Pardon. Congress must act urgently to ban these ripoff schemes and collusive 'settlements.'

President Trump's nearly $1.8 billion slush fund is unconstitutional, illegal and a fraud on the court—and the country. Everyone—Democrats, Republicans, Independents—must reject this total usurpation of the other branches and flat-out violation of our nation's laws.

See for yourself, this guy, who was nominated to be the top lawyer at the State Department, will do anything to dodge the truth. Ā  He won’t admit we have blockaded Iran because that would be an admission we are at war. Ā  Gaslighting the American people.

Today, the American people won. After we exposed Trump's $1.8 BILLION taxpayer funded slush fund & threatened to make Republicans vote on every part of it, they're running scared. They've pulled down votes & are going home. We know they'll be back at it, but so will we.

Trump = profits for himself over people. He does not care about any of us. He said it himself: he doesn’t think about your financial situation and called gas price increases ā€œpeanuts.ā€
Trump has increased his net worth by $3 BILLION in the last year alone. It’s corrupt, and the American people deserve better.

Barney Frank was one of a kind. For more than three decades in Congress, he fought tirelessly for the people of Massachusetts, helped make housing more affordable, stood up for the rights of LGBTQ Americans, and helped pass one of the most sweeping financial reforms in history designed to protect consumers and prevent another financial crisis. Barney’s passion and wit were second to none, and our thoughts are with his family today.

Heart, the band that has the best covers of Led Zeppelin, covering 'Black Dog' live at Alive in Seattle, in 2003. Here's a little bit information about this incredible song of Led Zeppelin. ā€œIt was tricky to play,ā€ Jimmy Page once said of ā€œBlack Dog,ā€ foreshadowing the frustration of so many classic-rock bar bands. The song opens Led Zeppelin’s untitled fourth LP with a hard-rock whiplash, constructed around a knotty, deceptively complex riff written by bassist John Paul Jones. It remains one of the band’s signature cuts, a true showcase for each member — but it took a Herculean effort to piece together that puzzle. ā€œI wanted to try an electric blues with a rolling bass part. But it couldn’t be too simple,ā€ Jones later recalled to journalist and filmmaker Cameron Crowe. ā€œI wanted it to turn back on itself. I showed it to the guys, and we fell into it.ā€ But the shifting time signatures were tough to pin down — especially, as Page told SiriusXM in 2014, ā€œthe bit where it goes into sort of triplets in one part and overlaps.ā€ Drummer John Bonham had the toughest job: figuring out how to lay down a solid groove amid such musical trickery. ā€œWe struggled with the turnaround,ā€ Jones added, ā€œuntil Bonham figured out that you just four-time as if there’s no turnaround. That was the secret.ā€ Credits for background information: Thank you for the awesome website. @UltClassicRock

🚨 METALLICA just dropped a history bomb in Athens šŸ”„ Kirk Hammett on stage last night in front of ~80k fans : ā€œEvery time I pick up my guitar I’m playing scales named by your ancestors… Music theory was created right here in Athens by Pythagoras. Every time I play, I’m playing GREEK CULTURE with my scales. I salute you for inventing the music we’re playing right now!ā€ā¤ļø Ancient Greece didn’t just give us philosophy and democracy — they gave us the DNA of metal itself. Tell me again how modern Greeks have ā€œnothing to doā€ with the ancients? šŸ˜‚ Metallica spells the truth. #MetallicaInAthens #GreekMetal #AncientGreeceLives #PythagorasWouldBeProud #Metallica They had another surprise for the Greek fans when they played Zorba the Greek šŸŽ¶ šŸŽø ā¬‡ļø
