This came out last year but one of my students just discovered it. Proud that GVL research contributes to the conservation of three of the four highlighted obscure species!

I am recruiting a lab manager! My lab works on applied fish conservation genetics/genomics questions to inform management. Current projects use GT-seq, high throughput msats, RAD-seq, RAD capture, lcWGS, and eDNA on walleye, whitefish, sea lamprey, northern pike, musky, and more!
I'm super excited that GVL new logo merch is now available on redbubble! All proceeds go to the artist, the amazing @Ethanrobertsx, who is also a grad student at Sac State! Check it out! redbubble.com/people/UCDavis…
So excited to roll out the GVL's new logo! Thanks to the masterful @Ethanrobertsx who was amazing to work and envisioned this spiffy design incorporating several key taxa we study! We HIGHLY recommend Ethan for your lab logo and scientific graphic design needs!
