Why are we promoting this?

If baseball is the hardest sport in the world then we should be focused on making it as easy to access, play, learn and succeed as possible. No need to make it more difficult.

Shagging BP is a historical waste of time in NCAA baseball for the amount of development these kids need. Coaches could utilize this time to develop pitchers to call their own game with catchers. I’d try innovating that way before implementing the solutions we see today.

A catcher getting rid of it “quickly” is throwing it as HARD as he CAN while getting rid of it QUICKLY. No one’s intentionally lobbing rainbows 🌈 just because they’re trying to be quick. Apparently that needed to be clarified…
