I wish there was someone who actually took the time to research the effects and implications a character ban would have. There are so many variables to look out for, history to be studied, but nobody goes through the effort; and I fear my reach isn't far enough to get those data.

E.g. "if we ban one character, in a few months we'll ban the next best character and it'll continue forever".
That is a possibillity, but what actually happened in games where chars were banned? Did they have the same concern? How did those games evolve? Does nobody care to know?

Airdodging out of hitstun does NOT make you die earlier...at least not always. It might actually save your life!
