It's been great visiting with students at the Governor's Scholars Program this summer, and today's stop was in Murray. Folks should be so proud of Kentucky's students. They're smart, talented and kind, and I know they'll go far.

My @NortonCougars had the best morning! She was greeted by the Best Bus Driver in JCPS! Mr. Curtis! She was so happy to see him again he got an early hug. He was happy to see shortie too.

Dropping your oldest/first/only kid off at college is amazing and horrible.
Why the Hell aren’t parents prepared for this shit!
F… take care of my other kids when I feel gutted. Ok. Doing it. But. Bs.

Meet the teacher @NortonCougars & @SharonNortonEl taught all 4 of my babies. Only one other teacher can say this. 💓
My 3 bigs thought they would surprise her with hugs. This is what an amazing teacher looks like… they really love her. And, we are EXCITED to start this year!

Mrs. Martel is a #JCPS star! She has continued to inspire my children minds with Many wonderful novels. My older boys bragged about the library so much… my daughter asked to visit in 5th grade on her birthday. 🌟 She is that special!

I’m so tired of school lock downs. Panic texting my kids to see if they are safe. Texting other parents to check if they are ok. Texting teacher friends to see if they are ok… thanking staff thru tears for making sure everyone was safe. This is too much. 💔
