Unfortunately one of my best pals growing up had passed (last fall). Ut was because of him started doing street outreach (I'd get done at the bar and lay blankets on the people kicked out of the shelters) which the news stories spread the idea further. Tonight we celebrated him.

Hospice is an incredibly unique and utterly terrifying program, as facing the death of a loved one is heavy enough. Let alone any suspicion of the care you put them in is hastening that eventual demise. Here's a decent read on the topic.
