That's a wrap on festival season, everyone! We have loved our time at the India Game Developer Conference (@theindiagdc) in November. During our time there, we gave two talks on the following topics: 💛 Engineering Empathy: Exploring cathartic games with the developers of 'Copycat' 🧡 140,000 Wishlists on Micro Marketing Budget: Our indie game story It was a pleasure getting to know everyone in Chennai. We were blown away by the talent and passion of the indie games community. Big hello to all our new friends from around the world! We also did some travelling at the end of our trip to learn more about this beautiful country. We visited Agra, Delhi, Varanasi, and Jaipur. We have had a taste and can't get it out of our heads. A few weeks ago, the Copycat team took part in Australia's Games Month! There was so much to celebrate. Our team was featured on a few panels and talks across Melbourne International Games Week and SXSW Sydney 2025! We loved presenting at Australia's premier game audio conference called High Score. What a wonderful opportunity to shed light on finding character's voice and emotionality. Sam and Kostia were joined by Copycat composer - Daniel Bunting.
