Bloodrayne 2 is a good game that was released during a packed 2004 holiday season and got crushed, selling something like 10,000 copies. Regardless, it killed the series until bloodrayne betrayal in 2011. I doubt a new game would get made today, she's too hot and sexually charged

A few years ago I got crucified by a female streamer for stating games is a majority male hobby. I then did a deep dive to see if it was, and Yes, gaming is majority male hobby. Yes, women make-up half of gamers, if you include mobile and casual games. Take them out, its mostly men. In short, Women aren't playing Call of Duty. In fact, I'll go further, men are the primary audience for certain games genres like shooters. Trying to cater to women, who are not the primary audience, is one reason(of many) gaming is in a giant slump.

I want to launch into political issues and sound off, but I can't now that I have relaunched my gaming site. 😞 In the end though, it'll keep me sane!

One of my coworkers carries around a bag of Werther's originals. I take one, and instantly forget I ate it two minutes later.

I have to wait until Thursdays for the bulk of the new eShop games to come in to pick reviews for the next week. I found exactly ONE today that interested me. It'll come this weekend.

6/9 Nintendo Direct was a 4/10. Mostly games you've already played. Almost nothing we didn't know about already. What a snoozefest!

I think I'm losing my mind. I confused one coworker for another, and a dog that harassed my dog with another dog today. I feel ashamed. 😓

Saw the backrooms today. Kinda slow to start IMO. I was falling asleep waiting for them to get to the backrooms. But once the movie gets there, it picks up and veers into really creepy territory towards the end. And this will be a series of films, it made way too much not to be.

Who does this and God of War: Laufey have in common? Stargate was canned and Laufey was greenlit for exactly the same reason, they wanted to go woke. Stargate wasn't woke enough, so they canned it. Laufey was greenlit because the execs wanted (a woke) female led, God of War.

You want to know how f-ed the Nintendo eShop is? First 8 games listed. Games that aren't scams? 2. Yoshi and Draw Save Puzzle(which looks like crap anyway). Next row is Mina the Hollower and 2 more scams. The eShop on the Switch 2 is even worse as they show the bundles. Nintendo does nothing!

Somebody in the comments here decided to call me a lair about Gamestop's trade-in value. Here's the story: call local gamestop: Me: How much you'd give me for a Switch OLED? Gamestop dude: [$40-something] store credit, 38 dollars cash. Me: Bye. That's it. Its possible the guy misheard me and gave the wrong info, but I definitely heard numbers that low. 🤷‍♂️
