The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Board of Directors on June 10 approved EM training program requirements that allow for continued 3- and 4-year residencies.

Not a fan of this decision. ResidecyCAS has the ability to allow candidates to know if their application is likely to get an interview at a program before they apply based on the past years selection of candidates by each program. This is a nice tool to combat over application and provide students meaningful data on their chances.
