OK...NOW WE GOT SOMTHIN' 1. Jim Leonhard in Buffalo VS 2. Darante Jones in Washington VS 3. Raheem Morris in SF VS 4. Jonathan Gannon in GB No theoretical hypothesis. Just actual 2026 DC production!
After the Cardinals chose Mike LaFleur over him, the 49ers hiring former Falcons head coach Raheem Morris as defensive coordinator.

Poor @espnhomer after spending months telling everyone how the UW football program fell apart because of šŸ’° & will be good this year because of more šŸ’°, the AD flees before it all bottoms out. Wrong again Homer. Just listen to Big Cat instead of those I told you to NOT listen to!
Big Cat had reached out to McIntosh to give more money to the Wisconsin NIL fund and got no response….

Haven't watched a single minute this year. First time in almost a decade I can say that. The Combine, once a true NFL "Event" is no longer viewed necessary for player evaluation by an alarming amount of NFL teams & even more scary, by college prospects.
Day 1 of the combine had a 37% participation rate, down 18% year over year compared to 2025. The 3 cone had a 50% participation rate pre-pandemic. It's just 13% now. It's getting very Pro Bowl for TV viewers: acmepackingcompany.com/green…

TYLER BIADASZ-NO BRAINER! He would immediately solidify Packer's OL & bring back a bully, enforcer attitude this group is 100% missing. He's from Amherst, WI, was the Dave Rimington Trophy winner his last year in Madison ('19) & elected to Pro Bowl, '22. ā¬‡ļøToo good to be trueā¬‡ļø

The last college "true" OG the Packers drafted on Day 2? Jason Spitz, Louisville, at 76 in 2006 & he was drafted as a Center. Not impossible, but damn near impossible in Green Bay. They draft Tackles & turn them into Guards. It just is.
Replying to @BloodyMcnally
I wouldn't be opposed at all to taking a CB or DT at 52, but guard in the 2nd round isn't early

As I stated pre-draft, Pierce reminded me a lot of Jordy Nelson & chosen by the Colts w/the Packers original #53, they used to move up to get Watson. Vikings used 53 to move up to draft CB Andrew Booth Jr. major bust now playing in UFL, but traded him to Dallas for Nahshon Wright
I don’t think people realize how good Alec Pierce actually is… He’s likely not hitting the open-market regardless, so it’s a moot point. But if he did, I’d be all over that. Ideal fit.

This is the perfect example of "No publicity is bad publicity." In a time without social media or "clicks" - this 20 seconds propelled Mel's career and began the "NFL Draft Industrial Complex." Without Mel Kiper, nothing today would have been possible.
BOTD Bill Tobin Who in the hell is Mel Kiper anyway? He’s never put on a jock strap, never been a coach, or administration and all of a sudden he’s an expert. Kiper has no more credentials than my neighbor, who is a postman that doesn’t have season tickets to the #NFL

"...The players absolutely deserve a piece of the pie." This is an opinion. The opinion that has begun to ultimately destroy college/amateur athletics. Typically comes from a bumpersticker phrase (like yours above) w/o foresight or understanding of 2nd & 3rd order effects.
Feb 17
You are completely missing the point. College athletics is a multi billion $$ industry and the players absolutely deserve a piece of the pie. Nobody cares what ex athletes think it’s doing to college sports. If it’s truly ruining it, then the money will dry up.

So, once again, @espnhomer changes the rules in the middle of the game, his most effective tactic when he's lost the argument ā¬‡ļø I never said early titles "mean nothing." They ABSOLUTELY must be taken into context tho. When a league had just 8 teams, it's EXPONENTIALLY easier
So gb titles before last two. Mean nothing like Russell’s ????????

Pre Superbowl & Superbowl Era. I mean, it's pretty easy, isn't it? AFL/NFL merger in 1966, fully implemented in 1970 bring the NFL to 26 total teams (The NBA was only 14 teams). The NFL has only added 6 teams in nearly 60 years. CONTEXT: It's just not that difficult.
got the same context for all the Packer titles?????????????????????????????? go to work

The NBA had 8 total teams in 1956, Russell's Rookie season. Added 6 teams in 1968 (14 total). Russell retired in 1969. So, in 12 of his 13 years, he competed against just 7 teams. Currently, there are double the amount of NBA playoff teams each year (16). CONTEXT MATTERS!
Bill Russell’s league. 11 titles in 13 years playing

1. Parsons: Best Def Player 2. Tom: Best OL (hurt most of season) 3. Kraft: Irreplaceable 4. Wyatt: Best Interior DL 5. Jenkins: Top OG 6. Jacobs: limited all year Yet, the team was literally an onside kick recovery away from winning the North & having a home playoff game.
I don't necessarily disagree with this, but the Packers also made the biggest, flashiest trade in years with Micah Parsons in late August, and I don't think for a second that the 2025 season is framed in these terms if Parsons and Tucker Kraft wouldn't have gotten hurt. Alas.

You don't have a clue, do you? You've never even read the Alston case, have you? How about the US House settlement? You haven't a clue, right? It's moved beyond NIL to an unregulated, pay for play, free-for-all. You really don't know as much as you think.
Must get paid. Against the law not to pay them. That simple

Huh...interesting... But the crowd that kept yelling "college athletes must get paid" won't admit how very wrong they were. So, listen to 2 of the greatest college athletes in the last 50 years, explain it to you. Tag: @espnhomer

Nobody will admit it now, but.... The majority of Badger Basketball fans wanted Greg Gard fired within 2 years of his hiring. Remember that, people. Remember that.
Tom Izzo on #Badgers HC Greg Gard: "I don't think Greg gets enough credit for what he's done."

More "smartest guy in the room" thinking from a guy who talks on the radio for a living. There is a ton of recency bias in this math w/little historical value. A year or 2 of data is too small to garner a decent assessment. Go back 25 years. The data tells a much different story.
ā€œYou don’t need the HOF QB for the #Packers. Then, you have to have elite defense and special teams… How do you get that if you pay the QB [$55 million per year]?ā€ @EvCoRadio on Jordan Love | #GoPackGo

Yeah...let's not waste people's time with actual facts. Instead, let's gin up attention with stupid/fake hot takes every day, claim you're always correct by moving the goalposts when proven wrong & maintain you could have coached the '96 Packers to a Superbowl win. Sounds better.
Why waste the time. He has the big audience Unless he’s doing it to keep his audience happy. That is sad too

More idiot Packer fans, like @BrianWunsch who have ZERO clue about the NFL, especially outside of Green Bay. Schneider wanted to extend Smith at $20M /year and keep Metcalf. There were literally dozens of articles on this less than a year ago. Dum asses

Here's another one, Mr @BrianWunsch in which Schneider admits he had to "pivot" off of both Geno & DK in offseason. There are many more, including Schneider saying they could "fix" DKs issues. Maybe just keep your idiot mouth shut if you don't know actual facts next time, hey?

No matter how you grade, whether it's "blue chip", First Round Grade, etc, '26 is a bad draft for top-level talent. Generally, 10-15 prospects grade out at 1st Round/Blue Chip per draft. Not this year. '26 FA market is also very weak. Now is the time to trade if ur rebuilding!
