We have millions of orphaned or abandoned oil and gas wells across the country that industry has not paid to clean up. Many of them are leaking. Climate pollution capture and storage should start right here!

Our PA thermographer Melissa Ostroff was on-site at the Allegheny National Forest in Pennsylvania last week. Armed with a specialized OGI camera, she discovered alarming signs of pollution from the ground around a well. If you want to know how installing heat pumps instead of central ACs would work in practice, look no further than @CityofVancouver, where they've already implemented this. City Planner @CAHiggins calls it a "no-regrets move" and says the transition has been "smooth"!
