Main St.) to review potential improvement options for the Moonlight Road/BNSF rail crossing and share your feedback. The study will evaluate grade-separation alternatives to reduce conflicts among trains, vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists while improving safety and mobility. 🌽 The Gardner Farmers Market season is officially underway! Celebrate the opening of the 2026 market season with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today at 4 p.m. at Cornerstone Park (215 N. Center St.). Following the ceremony, the market will remain open until 7 p.m. and feature a variety of local offerings, including fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, crafts, jams, honey and more.

Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, June 5. Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays.

🚧TRAFFIC ALERT UPDATE!🚧 KDOT has informed us that the ramp closures on the east side of the Gardner Road Bridge, initially scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, will now occur on Friday, May 15, due to a delay in the materials needed to install the signals at 175th Street and I-35. (See previous post for additional information concerning the closures.)
