THIS is such an amazing thing to me!!!
🌍 690,000 miles. 10 days. Around the Moon and back.
The last humans to make this journey returned in 1972. Most people alive today were not born yet.
For 54 years that distance belonged only to 24 men and the past. As of today it belongs to the present again.
Four people are about to hit the Pacific Ocean at 25,000 miles per hour inside a capsule the size of a small van and call it a safe landing.
Welcome home.

I grew up very poor. I excelled in school and enjoyed much of it, but there were two particularly hard days, every year: the first day of school and the first day after Christmas break.
Those are the two days that poor kids feel the poorest.
Please teach your kids to be kind.
