Brilliant game. Both sides really going for it. Love to watch actual football like this. So proud of the Maldon girls too, really went to battle and stayed professional throughout the game. I know I always say this BUT I love the way women’s football is developing. Especially watching two good sides like this playing. I’m excited to see what happens over the next few years with our women’s team. It’s exciting to say the least. We have some very special girls in our team and they have shown how good they are time and time again this season. Our management and coaching team have done a great job putting them all together and it shows! Women’s football is growing and yesterday proved that the investment in a team is worth while, especially when you get a crowd like yesterday which is more than most men’s teams regular numbers in our men’s league! I love that!!!!! Up The Fucking Jammers! ❤️ @ecwfl

“This isn’t just football…” It’s what happens behind the scenes. The decisions. The people. The pressure. UP THE JAMMERS brings you real life in grassroots football. It brings to you blood, sweat and tears of day to day life at lower league clubs and what goes into turning a failing club around. You’ve will never have seen a club like this before. The inside story of two men, who know nothing about running a football club, working 18 hours a day to bring the local community together and push their football club to new heights! A massive recruitment drive, bringing players from higher leagues down to help them get out of their current league. The abuse they recieve and the local rivalry that goes over the top to out and out abuse! To making new friends and helping other clubs on the way. This show brings you unscripted, raw access into the changing room with Kevin Horlock the manager and Mitch Cowling the Sporting Director. And a host of celebrity friends who show up to show their support at the club! Make sure you tune in to see every moment! Message from Co-owner Scott, and CEO Barrie after yesterdays league win: We really do not know where to start! We’re incredibly proud of what’s been achieved, not just in terms of winning the league, but in what it represents for the football club as a whole. This has been the result of a huge collective effort, from the players and staff to everyone working behind the scenes, and it shows what can be done when there is a clear vision and everyone is pulling in the same direction. To see that hard work rewarded on the pitch is something that means a great deal to both of us. What makes this even more special is what it means beyond the football side. This club sits at the heart of its community, and throughout the season we’ve felt that connection grow stronger and stronger. Whether it’s the supporters turning out week after week, the young people coming through our programmes, or the wider community engaging with the club, this achievement belongs to all of them as much as it does to us. Bringing people together has always been a priority, and this moment reflects that shared journey. With the ITV programme due to air in early May, it’s another opportunity to showcase not just the success on the pitch, but the story of the club, the Drewitt-Barlow Family and the community behind it. At the same time, we see this not as an end point, but as part of a much bigger picture. We’re excited to be heading into the Isthmian League Premier Division next season, and fully recognise the step up that comes with that. Our focus now is on building a team that can compete at that level and challenge for top honours, while continuing to strengthen the foundations of the club off the pitch. There’s a real momentum around the club, and we’re determined to carry that forward and keep progressing together. Thank you all for your support, this year has been a total pleasure for us, and we are excited to build a team that can be successful in the Premier Division and see what we can do there! Our goal is to grow and we want you on that journey with us. Thank you to all our sponsors over the past 12 months for coming onboard early and for the new ones now that are with us through this next growth step! We are excited to share our growth with your business so anyone else that is looking to get involved, please let us know, we will need all the help you can give! Here is to the next step in the clubs history and we will see you all again, at our exciting pre-season matches that include some amazing matches for you guys to watch!! stay tuned for the full list over the next few weeks! x Scott & Barrie xxx (photo by @RoyWarner5 ) @Gaydads @IsthmianLeague
