1/ The analogy of early Twitter as a local pub is a good one. Filled with a lot of good natured banter and testing of ideas.
In Melbourne there was even a regular meet up of users in a real life pub.

Well that cozy pub and source of good information that was Twitter is now a wild beer hall where the publican seems to encourage the worst behaviour, the biggest lies and fake accounts.
Time to find another pub.
