As always, huge thanks to first responders—and in this case, to the tower climbers who were busy doing their job, maintaining the KSDK tower. I don't think "saving a guy's life by restraining him for an hour 800' in the air" is in the job description, but he did it anyway
I would not want to be a tower climber (or paramedic, not sure if they'd go up) and have to deal with a potentially-intoxicated person climbing up a 1000 ft tower. They've been repainting the KSDK-TV tower for a couple weeks, which is why guy probably could make it to base.
