Trent Alexander-Arnold`s move to Real Madrid is maybe the worst decision football-wise we`ve ever seen. He went for a Ballon D'or, but ended up losing his place in the England squad infront of a World Cup, playing shite and replaced only 12 months later by a 30 year old Dutch.

Yan Diomande is sending Hincapie for the Echo every single time. Just go and get him.

Proper Liverpool goal that.

A "hydration break" in an indoor, climate-controlled stadium. I guess the rules will be a coffee or warm chocolate break in the Norwegian top flight coming season. It has nothing to do with commercials.

This Haiti team doesn`t mess around, it`s like watching Wimbledon under Egil Drillo Olsen.

Ancelotti is a coach always believing in senior players with hundreds of matches, routine. Hate youth. But he forgot they are slow as a turtles.

This midfield can never lift a World Cup.

On the other hand, there will be players who will suffer, who fall significantly in performance based on the coach's dispositions. From a Liverpool standpoint: Alisson Mo Salah ( out of contract ) Virgil van Dijk

If you don`t put the ball away, you get punished. That`s football.

I`ve always defended Hendo, even wanted him back. I wanted a statue when he left. Liverpool fans couldn`t get him out soon enough. And Michael Edwards.

Replying to @PartedBeard
When the Japan captain, the Hungary captain and a World Cup winner is nowhere near to bring out on the pitch what Hendo did, then it is time to understand how important he was for the manager.

Here we go. We need a golden buzzer in football.
The second one is correct. Stoppage time is a pretty insane system. 30 minute halves and stopping the clock when the ball is dead would remove any opportunity to time waste. You also add the potential entertainment of a winner on the buzzer.

Here we go. We are going to add minus minutes at clock 00:00 when the match is finished now.
The stupidity of counting up instead of counting down and arbitrarily adding time at the end is breaking me. Soccer is the dumbest sport ever.

Here we go. A Major League Baseball game, the third most watch sport in the U.S can last 2 hours, 3 hours or 6 hours or 8.5 hours. But the problem is 93 mins or 99 mins right?
As an American who watches soccer once every four years - I have never understood stoppage time. Why does the timekeeper get carte blanche on adding extra time and how come we don’t know exactly when the half will end? It feels so arbitrary and intentionally opaque

Here we go. A draw shouldn`t exist, 3 points for a win, 2 points for a win in overtime, 1 point for a win in a penalty shoot out. Draft system and no relegation. 3 halves with a lot of time for ad-breaks. National anthem for every game.
I dont know anything about soccer, so I'm just asking. Why does it end in a tie? Don't they know OT is exciting? Seems lame for the "biggest sporting event in the world."

FIFA turning football into a sport played in four quarters. Seems bad! (I am especially looking forward to these crucial "hydration breaks" taking place in indoor, climate-controlled venues. That'll make total sense)

Here we go. Not only do they call the most beautiful game in the world soccer. They want drafts, unlimited subs, 82 regular season games, play offs, cheerleaders, mascots, kiss cams, halftime shows and DJs.
I know this is a stupid American take... but every time I watch soccer, I cannot figure out the limited substitutions rule. Look how tired these players are. Just let them substitute. Think of how slow basketball would be if the same players had to play 48 minutes straight.
