Eleven years ago today, Donald Trump came down that escalator and changed the course of American history.
Since that moment, he has endured attacks that no modern president has ever faced. The media came after him. The political establishment came after him. The courts came after him. They impeached him, investigated him, raided his home, tried to remove him from the ballot, and after what many Americans view as a stolen 2020 election, they expected him to disappear.
He didn’t.
Instead, he kept fighting.
His first term delivered tax cuts, energy independence, record-low unemployment, rising wages, a rebuilt military, a stronger border, and the Abraham Accords, one of the most significant peace agreements in the Middle East in decades.
Then came the years of lawfare, political attacks, and multiple assassination attempts. Most people would have quit long ago.
Donald Trump kept moving forward.
Eleven years later, he’s still standing, still fighting, and still leading.
In my opinion, history will remember him as one of the most consequential presidents ever elected, and many Americans believe he will ultimately be remembered as the greatest.
Eleven years after that ride down the escalator, the movement he started is still here, and so is he. 🇺🇸
