Les documents relatifs à l’affaire Epstein, contenant des éléments particulièrement graves, ont révélé des faits constitutifs de crimes d’agressions sexuelles commis à l’encontre de femmes et de mineurs, crimes dont Jeffrey Epstein est considéré comme l’un des principaux organisateurs. Ces documents font également état de l’implication présumée d’une ressortissante arabe ayant occupé des fonctions officielles sensibles dans son pays, notamment la présidence de la Commission permanente des droits de l’homme, puis un poste de conseillère auprès des Nations unies sur des questions liées à la protection des droits et de la sécurité des femmes (Commission des droits des femmes). Selon les informations révélées, cette personne aurait joué un rôle consistant à faciliter le recrutement de femmes, en particulier de jeunes femmes, en vue de leur exploitation sur l’île associée aux activités criminelles précitées. À ce jour, aucune prise de position officielle, ni condamnation publique, n’a été enregistrée de la part des organes compétents des Nations unies, ni de la part des organisations internationales œuvrant pour la défense des droits et de la dignité des femmes, et aucune procédure visant à engager sa responsabilité n’a été annoncée. L’Observatoire condamne fermement ces faits présumés, d’autant plus qu’ils auraient été commis par une personne investie d’une mission institutionnelle de protection des droits des femmes. Il appelle à la saisine des juridictions internationales compétentes afin d’ouvrir une enquête indépendante et d’établir les responsabilités individuelles, notamment au regard de la violation grave des obligations morales et juridiques attachées aux fonctions exercées. L’Observatoire dénonce également le silence persistant des instances des Nations unies concernées, auprès desquelles cette personne exerçait des fonctions de conseil en matière de droits des femmes.

سؤال يوجه بمناسبة #اليوم_العالمي_للمهاجرين

هكذا تنتهي #الأيام_الستة_عشر_البرتقالية لهذا #العام_2025، دون أن تتحقق للضحايا في #ليبيا مُنجز يُذكر.

يندد المرصد في هذا اليوم العالمي (25 نوفمبر) المُخصص لمناهضة #العنف_ضد_النساء، بكافة أشكال العنف التي تهدد المرأة ؛ والتي تجعل منها ضحية هشة ؛ الجسدي أو اللفظي، أو #الرقمي/(شعار هذا العام). ونشدد على إن : #العنف_الجنسي_المُوظف_كسلاح_حرب ، مُصاب عديد من #حرائر_ليبيا، يرتقي عن أشكال العنف الأخرى التي تواجه المرأة،بوصفه دون شك #جريمة_ضد_الإنسانية.

نحن لا نفهم لماذا تمت انطلاقة تظاهرة #الأيام_الستة_عشر_البرتقالية السنوية لمناهضة #العنف_ضد_المرأة، ( ما بين يوم ٢٥ نوفمبر، #اليوم_العالمي_لمناهضة_العنف_ضد_المرأة، ويوم ١٠ ديسمبر #اليوم_العالمي_لحقوق_الانسان)، على يد #بعثة_الاتحاد_الأوربي_في_ليبيا، وبحضور وزيرات من الحكومة الليبية؟. لماذا لم تقم الدولة الليبية، أو مؤسسات المجتمع المدني بالمبادرة بذلك؟

REMEMBER NAIMA JAMAL? For many politicians in Europe who support the Libyan mafia and the torture camps, they will never understand or rather do not want to recognise that every life, Black, Red, White, Indian, Chinese, Arab, and Caucasian, matters and embodies the whole of humanity in its singularity. Standing beside me is Naima Jamal, who earlier this year had her life hanging between death and American dollars. Her story made headlines across the world, and one had hoped it would not only enrage people but awaken their consciousness. Yet as I speak, there are nearly a million Naima in Libya, experiencing what she went through. I met her today with a lot of emotion, remembering the sleepless nights I and the entire team of Refugees in Libya, church members, and our Holy Father Pope Francis had while trying to get her out of the hands of ruthless human traffickers. How unfortunate that our Holy Father Pope Francis did not live to see this smile. It took me nearly a year to be able to travel to Rwanda and meet her, alongside the many other victims who now find shelter in the Emergency Transit Mechanism in Rwanda. Naima has not yet healed from the trauma of torture, rape, starvation, and dehumanisation, but we are by her side and will remain with her throughout the process. He who sees the life in Naima sees it in all the children, women, and men who now hang between life and death across Libya. The meaning of our relentless fight is here in this picture and many more. We value each life and yet we are attacked and silenced. I would like to thank our comrade Don Mattia and our late Father Pope Francis for always making the Church not only a place of worship but a place of solace and fraternal love.
