Over 90% of Agriculture Ministry projects lack:
• Locations
• Deliverables
• Beneficiary details
This is not incompetence.
This is design.
Save this ₦1.05 billion.
Step 5: Demand specifics
Before approval, require:
• GPS coordinates of communities
• Number of boreholes
• Timeline for completion
• Proof of previous year's delivery
No details? No approval.
Nigeria's Ministry of Agriculture wants to spend ₦1.05 billion on "portable water in rural communities."
The problem?
No locations listed.
Here's why this matters and how to spot budget fraud in 5 seconds 👇
What ₦350 million should buy:
• 14,000 tons of improved seeds OR
• 50,000 irrigation pumps OR
• Training for 175,000 smallholder farmers
With locations. With names. With photos.
Demand this level of detail or reject the budget.

This is how government hides theft behind words 👇
To support women farmers, you need:
• Number of women to train
• Specific skills to teach
• Locations of training centers
• Types of equipment to provide
• Timeline and milestones
None of this appears in the budget.
Just the word "gender" and ₦607M.
Gender equity in agriculture matters.
Women farmers need support. No question.
But this budget line tells you NOTHING about helping women.
What does "mainstreaming" mean? Who gets the ₦607M?
Good cause ≠ Blank check.
Good intentions without specifics enable bad actors.
Demand details or save the ₦607 million.
Real women farmers deserve better than budget line items that enrich consultants.
What ₦607M should deliver:
• 20,000 women trained in improved techniques
• 15,000 processing machines distributed
• 500 women's cooperatives funded
• 30,000 women linked to markets
In Benue. In Oyo. In Plateau.
With names. With evidence.
Budget line: "Mainstreaming Gender in Agribusiness"
Amount: ₦607,517,786

Tied loans sound technical and official.
They come from World Bank, AfDB, or bilateral partners.
This makes them seem legitimate.
But vague tied loans are WORSE than vague regular spending.
Why?
With regular spending:
You waste this year's money. Bad but limited.
With borrowed money:
• You waste the loan
• You pay interest for 20 years
• Your children pay the debt
• The lender's contractors get rich
The damage multiplies.
Nigeria's debt service now consumes 96% of revenue.
Every vague loan makes this worse.
RAAMP needs complete transparency before one naira gets borrowed.
Disaggregate. Verify. Or reject.
The tied loan trap:
Year 1: Borrow ₦4.6B for "rural access"
Year 2-20: Pay ₦8B in principal and interest
Year 20: Still no rural roads
Meanwhile, someone bought houses in Dubai.
You cannot afford vague debt.
₦4.6 billion is HUGE.
What does RAAMP deliver for this?
The budget should list:
• Kilometers of rural roads
• Number of markets built
• Storage facilities created
• Specific communities served
Where are these details?
