Two years to learn. Four months to rebuild everything.
Last week we launched Genie 3.0, the most ambitious thing we've ever shipped.
But I want to write a different post today.
Not about features.
About what it actually took.
Late last year, I made a decision that challenged me.
Everything we'd built, the product we'd shipped to thousands of users, the workflows our customers depended on, wasn't going to take us where legal needed to go. The shape of it was wrong for the agent era.
So we made the call → rebuild from zero.
I asked the team to throw away two years of work and trust me on a four-month sprint.
❌ No external validation.
❌ No proof yet.
✅ Just conviction.
They said yes.
What they did in those four months I genuinely don't have words for. Turning ideas to reality.
Legal Workflows, Company Knowledge, building a full-fidelity editor, knowledge graph extraction, the entire eidetic intelligence layer.
Every part of a real legal-grade product, re-done from the ground up.
They made decisions a senior team takes years to make, in days.
They held the bar relentlessly.
They trusted the direction even when the direction was a dot in the distance.
To
@RafieFaruq @danieletassone @mateojovani @GiovanniYacopo Alex Drakos Alex Harwood Ana Robalo Merve Kucuk John Davison Rosie Dent-Spargo → every one of you. 🏆
This product exists because you followed the conviction. I will carry this with me forever.
Founders don't get many moments like this. The ones where the team says "we're with you" and then goes and does the impossible.
→ Genie 3.0 is live.
→ AgenticLawyer is real.
→ This is just the start.
Any legal work is possible. All you have to do is get started.
