I was unfortunately a part of the Epic Games layoffs. Honestly… what a ride the last 7 years. While it sucks, I absolutely love the company. I’ve seen a lot of negativity towards Epic today but the company is incredible. No company is perfect, but I promise Epic tries.

Challenge: for every bogey, I had to eat a chip from the one chip challenge. It got messy…

I’m convinced that 99% of successful people that say their teachers said they would never amount to anything are lying.

. @WSOP hear me out… Let us buy our reentry ahead of time. Then we can go straight from busting to late reg line.

. @GuyFieri you should come see us in #flavortown at Horseshoe! 🔥 🔥

Spending the summer in Vegas for the #WSOP is something I look forward to every year. Only negative is seeing how my wife gets treated at the tables as a new player. Most tables absolutely love her but her being new and having a bubbly personality leads to a lot of negativity.

Guitar people… I’ve been playing for 3 months and I’ve been working on this song. Most of it is in 4/4 but this part isn’t. Someone able to tell me the time signature? Extra points if you can explain how you determine it.

I see posts daily about AI and how it’s removing the need for software engineers. Unlikely. At best we see several years of people trying to use AI and building broken experiences. Eventually people learn you still need SEs to use the AI. Maybe one day but not “soon.”

Though I’m not the biggest web3 advocate, one major thing I’ve wanted to build since 2017 is a decentralized poker platform. Users would pay monthly subscription rather than taking rake which would help with regulatory issues. Should block all RTA while playing real time RNG.

I don’t understand how I’m new to @polyphia but my mind is completely blown. “Ego Death” is giving me vibes and feels I’ve never gotten from any other song in any genre.

Simple post from a dev who got sick of the web3 world… If you truly want mass adoption in the web3 space, you’ve got to stop trying to destroy anyone who fails while trying to succeed. You’ve also got to stop crushing devs because some “business person” rugged.

The web3 space is full of people claiming they are building. Spoiler alert, a majority of them don’t know how to build. If you want people to build it has to feel like a safe space. I personally wouldn’t risk building in web3 because 1 small mistake and you’re toasted.

I was going to turn this into a whole thread but it’s not worth it. Sure… call out the individuals responsible for scams but be reasonable humans to everyone else involved.

Why am I seeing @0xfoobar bashing all over my timeline right now? I’ve been away from web3 for a while but he was always one of the very few devs I actually respected.
