"Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!" mangaka Sumito Oowara shared his experience growing up with cognitive disabilities in a new interview. He explained that he shows signs of being on the autism spectrum, explaining that things like basic math & writing kanji are very difficult for him. In addition, new & unknown things bring him a great amount of anxiety. This made it hard for him to make friends & do well in class, so he didn't attend school often.
