OK, here goes. The Tour de France.
Honestly, watching it on TV when I was a kid, it felt like something that happened in a different universe. I dreamt of racing it, of winning it, but I never for a second thought I would.
Kids from Cardiff don't ride the Tour.
This little dude made G a quality sign… but definitely didn’t want it signed. We respect it. He’s our Lloyds Upstaged fan of the day from @TourofBritain 💫🇬🇧
Bring G some Welsh cakes and you’ll always be in his good books.
Yesterday’s Lloyds Upstaged winner is young fan Henry - who couldn’t make it to the race, but made sure his Dad got G a gift anyway. That’s commitment 👌🇬🇧 #LloydsTourofBritain

I couldn’t finish my career without a proper goodbye could I? Excited to announce our plans for an event at Cardiff Castle after the final Tour of Britain stage on Sunday 7th September. The details are being kept a surprise from me for now… but I’m told it’s going to be a lot of fun. 4,000 completely free tickets will be available soon and I’ll post the link when they’re available to grab. Hopefully see you all there 🏰👌🏴
Maybe I can go into kit design when I retire? 👀🤣 Delighted to reveal my final @INEOSGrenadiers kit for the Tour of Britain. It’s Welsh red, with the Welsh dragon, Alpe d’Huez man, & the best bit: Macs’ drawing. Me and the boys will be wearing it all next week. Can’t wait 🖊️ 👌
