This story has puzzled me for years. Announcing Amanda Gerber’s joining of the show with former Pennsylvania Attorney General Bruce Castor, former Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Chief Joseph Lesniak, State Representative Jeremy Faison, Norm Pattis, and more. Breaking her silence—Amanda Gerber is joining us on “A Conversation on Justice” this Tuesday, Dec. 30, to share her family’s story—not as a soundbite, and not as a headline, but as a daughter living with the consequences of a system that can change a life in an instant. Her father was once offered a ten-year plea bargain, which he accepted. However, exculpatory evidence emerged, leading him to opt for a trial. Consequently, the situation spiraled out of control. The prosecution, in a sneaky and sleazy move, transformed his ten-year guilty plea into a life sentence, despite the unchanged facts. The turning point came when he decided to stand up and fight back. This conversation matters because it’s personal. It’s about what happens to families when exercising a constitutional right comes at an unthinkable cost. It’s about the emotional toll, the unanswered questions, and the reality of waking up every day knowing the outcome didn’t have to be this way. WATCH: youtube.com/live/8S18KIDZTwU

While the man who mowed down Ashley McLean, 27, in Philadelphia, killing her, was sentenced to a mere 3.5 to 8 years in prison; a second individual is serving life without parole for the exact same offense. However, his case is riddled with holes and significant problems, such as a life sentence vs. 3.5 to 8 years. His name is Gary Gerber. His voice needs to be heard and his story should be told. Is that the America we live in? Where the “right to a trial” comes with a taxation of life imprisonment? Gary should’ve been released on parole last year. Instead, since he opted for a trial, he’s forever doomed.

#BlackMirror ep 2 is one of the darkest, if not the darkest, stories of Black Mirror. This was straight up horror. It’s an eerie commentary on our apathetic appeal to true crime stories & the inhumanity of making content out of victims for personal gain. The acting gave me chills
