RIP Jemma. I lived in Koh Samui for 3 years tourists ride these bikes with no helmets no experience and some no bike licence. Why wouldn't you rent a car for the short stay. I saw many come off their bikes on my daily walks. I drove a car and even that was chaotic at times.
