The $32M collapse of Humanity Protocol ($H) is being labeled an "outside hack." But on-chain data and the founderโ€™s track record suggest a much darker reality. Is this a sophisticated exploit, or are we witnessing a textbook staged exit? ๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ‘‡

update reach X rn is that someone invested $4.4M on $H last week and with the current extortion from the humanity team sorry from the hacker, the person is $3M down. we all know the humanity team sorry the hacker is behind this hackers like the humanity team should not exist on CT and should def be gone with this current terrible market condition. first you scammed yappers during kaito campaign era now you exploit your own project. i'm here to say @terencekwok congratulations for cashing out yet again from this exploitation and i hope to see your ass in jail soon!
INCIDENT UPDATE: Last night, June 8, the H token was hit by a coordinated attack across Ethereum and BSC. While weโ€™re still investigating this incident, we want to be transparent with our community about what happened. As of right now, ~$36M has been stolen across both chains and dumped. This was a result of a breach that happened after an employeeโ€™s laptop was compromised. Three of six Gnosis Safe owner keys controlling the Hyperlane bridge ProxyAdmin were compromised. The attacker used these to transfer ProxyAdmin ownership to their own wallet, then upgraded the bridge contract to a malicious implementation and swept ~141.2M H in a single transaction. Three of five BSC Safe owner keys were also compromised. The attacker performed the same ProxyAdmin seizure on BSC, deployed a malicious implementation with an unlimited mint function, and minted 200,000,005 H in two tranches directly to their wallet. Weโ€™ve now halted all deposits and withdrawals to the affected bridges and are working with all related parties, including exchanges, to minimize the damage. Further to our internal investigation, weโ€™re also working closely with the police to investigate this incident and recover some of the stolen funds. People in this community worked hard for what they hold here, and we feel the weight of that. We want to apologize for what has happened and thank you for your patience, messages, and for sticking with us.

Humanity Protocol raised $30M at a $1B valuation. Now, over $32M has been cleanly laundered through cross-chain bridges into fresh ETH/BNB wallets while retail takes a 90% haircut. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me three times? Don't buy this dip. ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ›Œ

๐Ÿšจ Humanity Protocol hype on CT, but beware! Terence Kwok, tied to failed Tink Labs & hi.com, promised a Feb 2024 airdrop in a hi.com AMA (proof available). Never delivered! ๐Ÿซด Check his history before joining. DYOR! #HumanityProtocol #CryptoScam #Web3

Humanity Protocol just got drained for $30 MILLION It's a project that scans people to prove they are real humans and the main rival to Sam Altman's Worldcoin Backed by Pantera, Jump Crypto and Animoca, it raised more than $50 million at a $1.1 BILLION valuation Today someone stole the private keys of one of its foundation members Those keys had the ability to mint tokens, allowing the attacker to create 200 million $H out of thin air and dump them onto the market So the hacker didn't just empty wallets, they literally started printing more $H, selling the tokens for 18,510 ETH and 1,548 BNB, worth around $31 MILLION This caused the token to collapse from $0.67 to $0.07, down roughly 90% in a single day. Around 17 wallets tied to the project were compromised This is the same project that admitted shortly after launch that out of 9 million sign ups, only around 1 million had actually passed the human verification check Their whole pitch was proving you're a real human The hackers had no problem proving they were real either
