This likewise provoked retaliation by New England settlers to burn out Native villages, and kill those there. Thousands died during the war leaving parts of New England completely depopulated. The war continued in this way until Metacom was driven back,…

To Mount Hope in Rhode Island where he was killed. The Treaty Of Casco Bay ended the fighting but left lasting legacies on both sides. The war doesn’t fit the typical white man bad, Indian good narrative as both sides committed heinous atrocities on each other.

You actually ever stop to wonder why there are so few movies about the American Revolution? You could literally count all that there are on one hand alone. Hollywood loves pumping out WW2 films but none about the war that formed America.

One of the consistent criticisms in reviews of the Mandalorian And Grogu is that the story is lacking. If a film has no story then what’s to like? Just window dressings of special effects and action sequences to string the viewer along till the credits roll?

I hated the way Quinlan Vos was depicted in the Hunt For Ziro as some hippie vagabond Jedi. The portrayal felt like it was made by people unfamiliar with his personality in Expanded Universe sources.

I have been rewatching the Clone Wars seasons and some of the episodes/narrative arcs are terrible. So far here’s the worst: 1. Any episode with Jar Jar 2. D-Squad arc 3. Martez Sisters arc

Was captured and placed into the custody of the Governor of Galidraan who sold the Mandalorian into safety and kept a suit of Mandalorian armor as a trophy. Fett escaped being a slave and retrieved the armor from the corrupt Governor and info on his Death Watch enemies.
