Best 30th bday gift! I finally got conferred today!
It has been tough, to say the least, completing this journey throughout the pandemic. But I wasn’t alone: couldn’t have done it without the support of many, whom I am eternally indebted to ❤️ esp @NarelleWarren & Dr Sara Niner
Special thanks to my supervisors Sara Niner & @NarelleWarren, who bought a book, printed articles and HAND DELIVERED them to me during lockdown. The walks in the park & frequent check-ins got me through the Pandemic. I miss my home. Couldn’t have done any of it without them ❤️

I love freedom. Who doesn't love freedom? I want freedom from being amongst the over 4 million official (and likely 10 million actual) COVID deaths globally. And freedom from being amongst the over 13 million current active cases. Or millions of current Long COVID cases. 1/
BREAKING: Labor votes with Libs to enable **public money** to go to **new** coal and gas projects.
In a climate crisis, Lib & Lab hand your $ to coal and gas corporations to make the crisis worse.
Remember this when you hear Labor talk about climate in their Budget reply.

2. These laws would give the Minister a new power to overturn refugee status.
This undermines the concept of refugee protection. It is a clear breach of international law.
Refugee protection should never be a day-to-day prospect

No, we aren’t giving you a raise. But we do have some great online classes on meditation to reduce stress that should help. We find deep breathing so relaxing!
Ok-deep breaths. I wrote a deeply personal piece re some of my experiences/observations of family violence. Sharing such stories can be part of the collaborative effort to denounce violence against women, girls & people of all genders.

Now we have a PM who doesn’t read.
An Attorney General who doesn’t read.
An AFP Commissioner who can’t read.
A NSW Police Commissioner who doesn’t want to read.
A woman who had her life destroyed.
We need a full blown Inquiry.
While A-G Porter was saying the rule of law would end if he couldn’t get a fair trial, he was urging a law that would let him deport refugees without them being able to see, or challenge, the evidence against them.
