Happy 54th birthday, “Alone Again (Naturally)”! On 18th February 1972, Gilbert O’Sullivan released “Alone Again (Naturally)” in the UK. Widely considered Gilbert O’Sullivan’s most iconic track, the single skyrocketed to #3 on the UK Singles chart. When later released in the US, “Alone Again (Naturally)” also spent 6 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
