Yesterday was @GirlScoutsofSNE's Advocacy Day at the State House: Scouts were advocating on behalf of several pieces of legislation, and @TinaSpearsRI hosted them at the House session, where she introduced a resolution recognizing GSSNE's commitment to empowering girls and fostering leadership, service, and community engagement. The resolution is online: webserver.rilegislature.gov/… The Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England serves more than 4,000 youth across the region with the support of more than 2,000 dedicated volunteers.

Last night was exciting for our Girl Scouts: they watched as the RI Senate unanimously passed SB 2432, granting automatic admission to state public institutions for qualified Gold Award recipients. Thank you to Sen. @PTikoian66035 for sponsoring this bill! Next stop: the House!
