this is the last thing Iโm gonna say.
A LOT of us are fighting with our hands tied behind our backs.
this industry is built on a foundation of racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, you name it.
having to wake up and choose to be yourself in a profession that does not favor you because you donโt fit their aesthetic is so frustrating.
Iโve watch people who are overqualified, get passed over, Iโve been pigeonholed into a box myself of what a โgay wrestlerโ should be. Iโve been in locker rooms where I KNOW people there donโt believe I belong there.
but again, choosing to be yourself even when the world is telling you that who you are is wrong, is the most powerful thing you could do.
These antiquated views of what a professional wrestler is supposed to be are very 1900โs and we are beyond that.
