I like to watch the WSOP final tables because the environment is serious. I'm a serious ass poker player. If you want fun tournament tables, that's back in the first 10 levels. Wsop not for kids.

A Poker player is supposed to be mentally strong. A Poker player is supposed to be Brave. None of these things are in the "Charts".

There are more than a few players with 4 or more bracelets and nobody even knows them. It's like you don't get known until you win at least 6 bracelets.

When I say USA finally got a striker, I mean it. He makes 43 milliona year in Europe. This dude did not grow up in America. He's a glitch. Born in Brooklyn and moved to the UK at 1 month old. We just saw the best first half in USA mens history.

A whale won the 50k. Buddy was getting it in bad. Draw after Draw. It was fun poker to watch. He won the last hand going all in with a pair and an open ended straight on a paired board. His opponent cheered, until he hit trips on the river for a full house vs Kings.
Nobody wants to watch this 50k....cmon man

This.... I've been playing range vs range for a very long time. Took a decade to learn how my range does well vs multiple ranges. No solver, no coach can teach you. Only experience.

You need to know how to play and apply GTO concepts vs all player types. But also need to understand how to exploit your opponent's weaknesses and trust your reads on them. You need to have faith in long run profitability. But be ok losing infinite short term. 2/x

To all the haters who talk shit about the WSOP. They couldn't write this any better. Two final tables with two players left in each. The Monster Stack and the 50k high roller.

Before the series I said Knicks will get revenge on the Spurs after getting swept years ago. Knicks were down 30 tonight and came back on the Super Alien Wemby. What a story.

The blinds are 1.3 million and 3 million in the monster stack. So many chips every one playing nitty as hell. I'd be bluffing them all.

I'm really a Hustler. Poker and women is my game. When your money is green you don't have to take chances that will land you in prison. Nothing sweet about my life. I've lived in hotels, I've lived in the hood. Anything can happen at any moment. Not one boring moment.

Naturally I'm a night owl. I'm up every night till 5am. This WSOP coverage is the best I have ever seen for poker. It's like John Cynn WSOP final table vibes every night till 3am. Poker is finally getting the right formula together and it starts with the WSOP YouTube.

Maurice Hawkins clowning with the full house on the river vs Foxen. Guy just keeps on winning. Might win his first WSOP bracelet in PLO.

When you make big plans the universe will test you. I planned on moving to Vegas a couple of months ago and now I can't win. I ask myself "How bad do you really want it" I'm sold on moving to the Mecca period. Don't care what my family or the women in my life say.

This is not entirely true. These people are passive. It could also mean a trap. Meaning it's a weak hand but the opponent is not folding because they are bad.
maybe the most reliable tell in all of live poker: when your opponent quickly bets exactly double the size of the previous street. say your opponent bets $100 on the turn, and now the river brings in a flush draw and he quickly bets $200. usually when players make a flush here, they pause to think about their ideal value size. and usually when they had a strong hand and the flush comes in, they pause to consider if they still want to even bet for value. what hands bet quickly? bluffs.

The P in Poker stands for Patience. We are working Smarter not entirely smarter. You might not win today or every week or every month. It might take months before you see real change. That's Patience for you
