Another widespread severe threat in Brazil, likely fostered by the already in place El Nino. Numerous supercells capable of large hail are already ongoing given the known favorable conditions: buoyancy concentrated in the hail growth region elongated straight hodographs.

I think that narrowing just to evirnomental parameters limits the whole picture where forcing, storm coverage and storm interactions also play a major role in convection organization.
So - genuine question - why was every single open warm sector tornado yesterday completely rain free?
I certainly expected to see HP/rainwrapped messes. Instead everything was dry and photogenic. Not to mention cyclical and productive. ????

Chasing in IL today is not for the faint of heart, or for new chasers, imo. Parameter space reminds me of 6/22/15 and 6/22/16, both of which featured numerous tornadoes that were so astronomically HP that you had to be inside the bear's cage to see them. Good luck out there!

Widespread severe storms are also expected over much of south-central Brazil today. Supercell capable of very large hail and damaging are likely, over most of the level 1 and 2 areas, with an isolated tornado threat north of Parana. Storms should congeal into a QLCS later.
