Iβm 99% sure this was the first comic Iβve ever βreadβ when I was 4 and itβs fascinating to me that my first cognitive recollection of Spider-Man was when he was in the cloth black suit. This also made me have a soft spot for Silver Sable and all these villains.

I think Spider-Verse like every multiverse concept is a fun βonce and awhileβ scenario but retroactively infusing it into the mythos. Itβs why I find the alternate Spider-Men prior to Spider-Verse (Comic) to be a lot cooler than the specific Spider-Verse originals
