We are inviting you to campaign with us, as One Voice on this amendment to the Children, Well being and Schools Bill in the House of Lords - (2nd Reading 2/5/2025) New Clause (NC) – Inclusion of Care Experience in Equality Impact Assessments (1) Any public body required to conduct an Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) under: (a) Section 149 of the Equality Act 2010 (England and reserved UK functions), (b) The Equality Act 2010 (Statutory Duties) (Wales) Regulations 2011, or (c) The Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) (Scotland) Regulations 2012, (d) Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, must include an assessment of the impact of their policies and practices on persons who are or have been in the care of a local authority.
