No Xenoblade that's come out has EVER been anything like what I pictured the "next one" looking like
X was nothing like I imagined would come after 1
Nor 2 after X, or 3 after 2
This is nothing like what I expected after 3, or X DE
But every single time, it's still incredible.

Love Xenoblade X to bits BUT the fact you will inevitably overlevel yourself just by killing enemies to test builds is a genuine flaw with it
Game's sidequests are incredible but I can tell they'd be way better if you were less overleveled for a lot of them

Every quest has a "recommended level" but you realistically can't do all of them at that recommended level
Even if you started doing lv 20 quests at lv 20, you'd already start to outscale them before you've done all the ones at around that level
And then you'll discover new ones

It doesn't ruin the game by any means but X DE felt like a missed opportunity to try and find a solution to this, like having more difficulty scaling or letting you level down like most other Xenoblade games
