My husband asked whether the reason I like teaching ppl about #allergies & #eczema is that the #science is so complicated.
The reason is the opposite.
The steps to keep someone with allergy safe are simple. I want as many ppl as possible to know them so we can save more lives

I had the absolute best time connecting with people, teaching and of course learning.

Most of us think that our baby’s #eczema is caused by food allergies but it’s actually the other way around.
Not getting eczema under control early can lead to #allergies, #hayfever and #asthma too!

Eczema can be red, itchy, dry, scaly & sore.
It can also be embarrassing, isolating & expensive among other things. It’s not “just a rash”.

⚖️The number of new cases each year isn’t rising
Most worryingly:
💉 More than 1/3 of ppl who need adrenaline auto injectors (eg EpiPen) don’t carry one!
